Kevin Nutter

An early starter, Kevin sold his first painting aged 11 and created his first mural and interior design contracts at 14.

He studied art at Carlisle Art College and Manchester University 1970s, gaining a Ba Hons in Graphic Design, going on to secure a job at a print company working on international advertising campaigns in the 70s. In the 1980s he became an illustrator, working at Carlisle Archaeological Unit, and then formed Knutwood Big Art Co 1996, specializing in large murals for interiors in nightclubs ,restaurants and pubs.

Since the turn of the century, Kevin has delivered fine art painting commissions and in 2018 took over Daffodil Lane Art Gallery, Carlisle.

As well as the Bob Abley, he also exhibits at: Tall Storeys Hotel, Woodend Museum and the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough; People First Conference Centre, The Old Fire Station; Tullie House Museum and Solway Aviation Museum, all in Carlisle; Come View My Art Gallery, Gateshead,

His current paintings represent northern life and landscapes, usually with a story attached.
