The Park is open to the community year-round and during the summer concerts take place in the impressive bandstand and family-friendly events such as Party in the Park and the town’s Family Fun Day celebrations bring hundreds into the facility.
Jubilee Park also boasts a Sensory Garden – awaken the senses and imagination with aromatic and colourful plants, planted by the Town Council, helped by pupils from Oaks Secondary School and with artwork created by Spennymoor School.
Victoria Golf is a charming nine-hole mini golf course that pays homage to the reign of Queen Victoria. Each hole is thoughtfully themed with information about Queen Victoria, whose Jubilee was commemorated in the name of the park.
