The works of Chris and Steve Rocks attract visitors from around the world.
The twins’ “Coming Home” exhibition provided the internationally renowned artists the opportunity to tell their story of how they started in their hometown of Spennymoor and progressed to become providers of ‘must have art’ for lovers of contemporary art.
The exhibition included a range of signed limited edition prints, as well as a stunning collection of new and original paintings.
Since the exhibition the Gallery now displays only a few pieces of the brothers' work which are on permanent display.
The Rocks are winners of the Fine Art Trade Guild’s Best New Artist award and represent a unique phenomenon – born seven minutes apart in Spennymoor, they have an extraordinary partnership born of closeness and understanding, in which both artists paint on each of their pieces. True collaboration of technique and approach, resulting in the spectacular.
Each piece is inspired by the power of nature, while exploring the effects of light on land, sky, and water.
