🚨FIREWORKS CANCELLED 🚨

Due to recent heavy rainfall, Spennymoor Town Council has taken the decision to cancel this year’s Fireworks Event.

Following site visits to check the impact of recent inclement weather on High Whitworth playing fields, conditions have been deemed unsafe to stage Sunday evening’s Fireworks.

While we work incredibly hard to stage this popular event and appreciate how valued it is by residents, the safety of attendees is paramount and we could not go ahead with conditions posing a risk to public health and safety.
