Cow Plantation footpath upgrade

Public access through one of Spennymoor’s natural assets is set for a facelift.

Spennymoor Town Council and Durham County Council are improving the pathways through the Cow Plantation, improving accessibility and safety.

Work will begin on Tuesday 17th October and may cause some short-term disruption for walkers.

Warning signs will be placed around work site, and banksman will be on hand to guide users safely past plant when in operation.
