Meet the new Spennymoor Town Mayor – Cllr Ian Geldard.

A councillor for just over a decade, Cllr Geldard was the youngest ever leader of the Council and is now the youngest ever Mayor.

He is dedicated to Spennymoor, splitting his time between the Town Hall and Brewery Field.

Here he talks about the year ahead, how he aims to work with other political parties for the good of the town… and how optimistic he is for upcoming season!
