Poppy Appeal
Spennymoor Town Council would like to thank Amanda Molloy for her years of hard work and dedication organising the town’s Poppy Appeal.
Owing to a collapsed sewer it has been necessary to temporarily close to vehicular traffic a 15 meter length of rear Craddock Street between numbers 100 & 104, Spennymoor.
The immediate/urgent closure, which is being effected by means of Notice under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 is necessary to permit remedial works to be carried out.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic is the frontage of adjacent streets .
The maximum duration of the closure under this Notice is 5 days. However, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective from Tuesday 18 May 2021 for an anticipated period of 4 days.
