The Durham Mining Museum will be re-opening week beginning 10 August 2020, initially on a pre-booking basis only.  Visitors will be able to visit on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s between 10am and 2pm, and must book in advance by emailing durhamminingmuseumsecretary@gmail.com.  This is due to our regular volunteers being unable to open the museum, therefore the Company Secretary Lynn Gibson will be opening the museum initially on these days and times only.

For the foreseeable future, the museum will only be taking bookings from people in one household at a time, and new government guidance states that masks must be worn at all times.  Hand sanitiser will be available on entry to the museum and must be used before entering the museum.
