On Tuesday 24th September, Spennymoor Town Council had great pleasure in presenting Chris and Elizabeth Lewarne with a Scroll of Honour for service to their country and their town.  The Mayor, Cllr Elizabeth Wood, said having heard of the amazing dedication Chris and Elizabeth have shown over the years, she was delighted to be the one who made the award on behalf of the Town Council.  This wonderful couple are a credit to their family and Spennymoor and should be very proud of themselves.
