YOUR TOWN, YOUR COUNCIL AND YOUR VIEWS

Spennymoor Town Council seeks to identify its community’s views on the service provided and community priorities to enable the Council to review its plans and inform the budget setting process.

We are about to undertake a significant piece of consultation work with the Spennymoor community.

We request that you, as residents, use this opportunity to inform the Town Council of what is a priority to you.

The document will inform you of the services that the Town Council provide and those which are provided by other service providers.

The consultation will take a number of formats including:

• A questionnaire in the next edition of SpennyNews
• A public consultation event in the Town Hall on 21 October 2017, 10am-2pm, where service providers and Councillors will be present to talk with and share information and ideas with residents
• Surgeries in your local community centres where you can drop in and discuss and complete the questionnaire – dates to be confirmed and advertised.
• Through the Town Council’s website where you will be able to download the questionnaire to complete and return
• On Facebook

To help incentivise the completion of the questionnaire the Council will put all completed questionnaires in to a prize drawer and the first picked out by the Mayor will receive a £50 voucher.
