The Council’s performance is measured externally and internally in a number of ways. Our accounts are prepared annually in accordance with relevant regulations. They are audited by auditors appointed by the Audit Commission, and are published once the audit is complete.

The Auditor’s annual audit letter is also published on completion of the audit. The Council’s Annual Budget is available for anyone with an interest in the Council’s financial plans. In addition, an Annual Report is published setting out targets and performance against these targets.
