Colours of Spennymoor - Coming this September
Colours of Spennymoor is a new Art Wellbeing Group led by local artist Jayne Blacklock, designed to help you relax, build confidence, and explore your creativity in a supportive community setting.
Through a range of hands-on workshops, you'll experiment with different artistic mediums including pencil, charcoal, soft pastels, and paint. Whether you're developing existing skills or picking up a pencil for the first time, Jayne will guide you through techniques and creative processes that will help you gain confidence and create artwork of your own.
No experience is necessary, and all materials are provided. Just bring yourself and an open mind.
Choose the group that's right for you
Experienced Artists Group
Starting 10 September and meeting fortnightly. Ideal for those who already have experience using a range of artistic techniques and materials and would like to continue developing their practice.
Beginners Group
Starting 17 September and meeting fortnightly. Perfect for those who are new to art, returning after a break, or looking to build confidence and learn new skills in a supportive environment.
Cost
Sessions run on a termly basis and are free to attend. Participants are invited to contribute a Pay What You Decide donation towards resources and materials if they are able.
Come along, get creative, connect with others, and discover the wellbeing benefits of making art.
