Group Visits
We welcome visits from schools, colleges, universities, community organisations, art societies, heritage groups, and other special interest groups.
School visits can be supported with educational work booklets designed to help pupils engage with our collections, exhibitions, and local heritage. Community and adult groups are also welcome, and visits can be tailored to focus on art, culture, history, mining heritage, or the story of Spennymoor Town Hall.

The Theatre & Main Hall is available for a wide range of performances, meetings, conferences, workshops, and community events. With seating for approximately 294 people, it provides a flexible and accessible venue in the heart of the town.
