Mayor’s Cheese & Wine Event – Friday 14th November

On Friday 14th November the Mayor held a Wine & Cheese evening at the Bob Abley Gallery in Spennymoor Town Hall. The event was attended by 44 people, with a guest list of mayors and mayor consorts who had travelled from all over the North East. The evening included a talk delivered by John Cornish about his father and famous local artist, Norman Cornish, a tour of the Bob Abley Gallery and a raffle, which raised over £300 for the Mayor’s charity – Spennymoor Town and Youth Bands.
