Councillor Billy McAloon has taken up the chains of office to become Spennymoor Town Mayor, making it a hattrick of roles for him on the Town Council.
From Monday 20th May dog bags will no longer be available to purchase at the Town Hall, but instead will be available from Memories Card Shop, the Sweet Shop and the Flower Shop, all situated in the High Street underneath the Town Hall.
