Spennymoor Town Council Audit Committee Order of Business - Meeting to be held March 19th 2025
Tudhoe & Spennymoor Local History Society has its first talk of 2023 tomorrow (Monday 23 January, 7.30 pm at St David’s Hall Tudhoe) and, for various reasons, we weren’t able to publicise it in Spennymoor News as we usually do.
Since the talk is by Bob Fleming, former Leader of Sedgefield Borough Council, on growing up in pre war Spennymoor, I hoped you might be interested and would also be able to let other local people know.
As shown in Saturday’s Northern Echo, we will also be showing a newly acquired panoramic school photo which we believe shows staff and pupils of the Alderman Wraith School in 1939
