Owing to an electricity supply cable fault it has been necessary to temporarily close to pedestrian traffic a 20 metre length of footpath at the side of no, 5 Princess Court at the northern end of Charles Street, Spennymoor.

Temporary Footpath Closure Notice

Princess Court / Charles Street, Spennymoor

Owing to an electricity supply cable fault it has been necessary to temporarily close to pedestrian traffic a 20 metre length of footpath at the side of no, 5 Princess Court at the northern end of Charles Street, Spennymoor.

The immediate/urgent closure, which is being effected by means of Notice under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 is necessary to permit remedial works to be carried out.

Alternative routes for pedestrian traffic are available via other local footpaths and footways in the area .
The maximum duration of the closure under this Notice is 5 days. However, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective from 9.20 pm on Monday 26 April 2021 for an anticipated period of 5 full days.
