Emergency Temporary Road Closure
Owing to the necessity to locate and repair a leak in back lane at the above location, it has been necessary to temporarily close to vehicular traffic from Tuesday 14 January 2020 an approximate 8 metre length of Craddock Street, Spennymoor outside the rear of 102.
The emergency closure, which is being effected by means of Notice under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 is necessary by reason of likelihood of danger to the public, and to permit repair works to be carried out. The maximum duration of the closure under this Notice is 21 days. Works are expected to take 5 days to complete.
Throughout the period of closure, an alternative route for accessing/egressing Craddock Street (rear) will be available for vehicular traffic from western side of closure via Victoria Street.
